Mischief Night, or Devil's Night, is the night before Halloween, where "tricks" or pranks are done by neighborhood children. Common pranks include egging neighbor's houses, smashing pumpkins and vandalizing homes with toilet paper.
In some instances the custom of mischief has lead to more serious crimes of vandalism.
