Additionally, GameStop.com has a notice on their preorder page for Mirror's Edge stating that if consumers preorder the game, they will receive a code that will grant them early exclusive access to "Time Trial Mode".
Time Trial Mode
The Time Trial Mode in Mirror's Edge, which is rumored to be in the demo, is a pre-set course for you to run through in a limited amount of time. Though these levels are fairly straightforward, there will almost always be shortcuts or alternate paths that help you complete the level faster. In the final game, players will be able to download Time Trial Ghosts based on the best times from real players around the world.
