Professional hockey player Miroslav Satan plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League.

NHL Career
Satan was drafted 111th overall in the 1993 NHL draft by the Edmonton Oilers. In 1994, he joined the Oilers' American Hockey League and International Hockey League affiliates. He made his NHL debut with the Oilers in 1995 and played nearly two seasons with the team before he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres on March 18, 1997. Satan continued with the Sabres until the 2004-05 NHL Lockout, when he played for the HC Slovan Bratislava in the Slovak Extraliga. Following the lockout, on August 3, 2005, Satan signed as a free agent with the New York Islanders.
