Miranda Lambert

Miranda Lambert is an American country singer-songwriter from Lindale, Texas. She became popular after appearing on the talent competition television show Nashville Star in 2003. Although she came in third place, she has been nominated for eight awards and won the Academy of Country Music's "Best New Female Artist" award in 2007.

Miranda Lambert is up for Top Female Vocalist of the year at the 2010 Academy of Country Music awards. Her album Revolution is up for Album of the Year and White Liar is up for Song of the Year at the awards ceremony. Miranda Lambert was born in Lindale, Texas on November 10, 1983. When she was ten, Miranda went to see Garth Brooks perform live and started entering some of her first singing competitions.
