  • In the reality show Millionaire Matchmaker professional matchmaker Patti Stanger takes wealthy men and coaches them on their dating skills. She then sets them up with compatible women.

    Matchmaker Patti Stanger began her career setting up friends and family. In 2000 she launched the Millionaire's Club. The club paired highly successful men with the women of their choosing. Much like on Singer's television show, the men choose women from a large variety of applicants, were then coached through their dates by Singer and a group of experts, and most ultimately walked away satisfied. Singer was approached by Bravo in 2007 to make a television show and her business and personal life, and the program debuted in 2008.
