  • SABMiller PLC and Molson Coors Brewing Co. are planning to combine their U.S. operations. The joint venture, called MillerCoors, will have a pro-forma revenue of about $6.6 billion and yield about $500 million in annual cost savings. The merger will substantiate a direct competitor to Anheuser-Busch, the nation's largest brewer.
