Millennials

The term Millennials is used to describe the generation born around the turn of the century (the millennium). This generation is generally thought to include individuals born from the late 1970s to the early 2000s. They are the children of the Baby Boomers and are the first generation to be be raised entirely in the digital world.

Democratic Senator Barack Obama began specifically targeting Millennials with his 2008 presidential campaign. The 40 million+ Millennial voters could potentially have a major impact on the outcome of the general election in November 2008.
