An Emphasis On Genre Roles
From the 2003 remake of Tobe Hooper's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to the 2006 ship-in-trouble Poseidon (also a remake, of the 1972 The Poseidon Adventure) to the dead-again-and-again The Deaths of Ian Stone and the monster-takes-Manhattan Cloverfield, Mike Vogel has made a career of fantasy, horror, and disaster movies. He very nearly continued this trend with the role of Captain Kirk in Star Trek XI, but Chris Pine got that part. -
