Tyson's four-year-old daughter Exodus Tyson was reported to be in extremely critical condition on May 24, 2009, after apparently strangling herself on a treadmill cord by accident. Tyson, who had been out of town during the incident, reportedly flew to Exodus' bedside immediately upon hearing the news. • Biting Evander Holyfield

Tyson's rape conviction forestalled his hotly anticipated first match-up with Evander Holyfield—which Holyfield eventually won on November 9, 1996. Although Holyfield's victory by TKO was unexpected, the 1997 rematch became as infamous as the first was celebrated. During the 1997 match, Tyson bit Holyfield repeatedly, disfiguring Holyfield's ears and causing Tyson to be disqualified in the third round. Although Tyson later apologized, he claimed that his behavior was prompted by Holyfield's head-butts.About.com: Mike Tyson Timeline
