Mike Shanahan is the former head coach of the Denver Broncos in the National Football League.
On January 3, 2009, News agencies reported that the Dallas Cowboys would consider Mike Shanahan as the leading candidate for the team if they fired current head coach Wade Phillips. Owner Jerry Jones has stated that he has no intention of firing Wade Phillips. Brief Bio
Shanahan led the Broncos back-to-back Super Bowl victories in 1998 and 1999, but the Broncos failed to qualify for the playoffs in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
