Mike Knox first appeared on ECW as the (storyline) boyfriend of diva Kelly Kelly. He often prevented Kelly from participating in striptease segments during the show.
During this time, Knox feuded with Test and CM Punk. Although he won several matches, he was a virtual unknown to the main talent rosters on Raw and SmackDown!.
