Mike Johanns is a Republican U.S. Senator representing Nebraska. He has previously been Governor of Nebraska and the Secretary of Agriculture under the Bush Administration.

Career
Johanns got his start in politics as a county board member and city councilman in the Lincoln, Nebraska area. He served as Mayor of Lincoln for two terms and became Nebraska's governor in 1998.USDA: Secretary Mike Johanns
