Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, who dropped out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination in March 2008, spoke at the Xcel Energy Center on September 3, 2008, day three of the 2008 Republican Convention. Also speaking that night was vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin and Huckabee's former rivals for the GOP nomination, Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.
