  • Mike Holmgren is the head coach of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and was a Super Bowl winner as head coach of the Green Bay Packers. Holgren is scheduled to step down as the Seahawks coach at the conclusion of the 2008 season.

  • Brief Biography

    Mike Holmgren coached at the high school level at various high schools in the San Jose, California area. He then moved on from San Jose to coach the at San Francisco State University. In 1984, he was hired on as the quarterbacks coach at Brigham Young University while Steve Young was a player there. He later made his way to the NFL coaching under Bill Walsh, it was not until 1992, when Holmgren made his head coaching debut with the Packers, winning a Super Bowl in 1997, and later attaining the top job with the Seahawks.
