Mike Dunleavy is a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association and currently plays for the Indiana Pacers. He is the son of Los Angeles Clippers head coach, Mike Dunleavy Sr.

Early Life
Michael Joseph Dunleavy, Jr was born in Forth Worth, Texas, on September 15, 1980. The son of NBA basketball coach Mike Dunleavy Sr., Dunleavy would quickly make a name for himself at Jesuit High School where he would help lead the Basketball team to the 4A state championship. He would garner the attention of elite college basketball programs across the nation, and Dunleavy would choose Duke University. Dunleavy would play several seasons with the Blue Devils winning the National Championship in 2001. In 2002, Dunleavy then decided to leave college and declare himself eligible for the NBA draft.
Pro Career
Dunleavy was selected with the third pick in the 2002 National Basketball Association draft by the Golden State Warriors. He would spend three seasons with the team before signing a five-year contract with the Warriors for $44 million dollars. In 2007, Dunleavy was traded to the Indiana Pacers with Keith McLeod, Ike Diogu, Troy Murphy for Josh Powell, Sarunas Jasikevicius, Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson. In Indiana, Dunleavy has established himself as a franchise player and is one of the primary scoring options for the team.
