• Playing Career

  Mike Babcock played for the Saskatoon Blades of the Western Hockey League (WHL) in 1980-81, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist in 30 games. In the 1982-83 season, Babcock scored 21 goals in 68 games as a member of the Kelowna Wings. From 1983 to 1987 he played at McGill University. • Coaching Career

  Mike Babcock started his coaching career in 1991 with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the WHL. In 1993 he left the WHL to coach at the University of Leftbridge. One year later Babcock was back in the WHL as head coach of the Spokane Chiefs.
