Mike Alstott is a former National Football League player for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Alstott played all 12 of his professional seasons with Tampa Bay.
NFL Career
In his 11 seasons in the NFL, Mike Alstott became known as a powerful runner, and as one of few fullbacks to run the ball regularly. Alstott is the Buccaneers' all-time leader in both rushing touchdowns with 58 and total touchdowns with 71. Alstott accumulated a total of 5,088 rushing yards and 2,284 receiving yards in his career. In Super Bowl XXXVII against the Oakland Raiders, Alstott caught five passes for 43 yards and had one rushing touchdown in the Buccaneer's victory.
