Apple's Steve Jobs announced at the 2008 WWDC conference that support has been implemented to provide Microsoft Exchange for the second version of the iPhone.
The iPhone 2.0 software utilizing Microsoft Exchange will work with the iPhone's email, contacts and calendar features. It will also feature auto-discovery of Exchange servers and global address lookup, as well as a remote wipe security feature.
