Microsoft BlueTrack is a new light based technology developed for wireless mice and keyboards. The new method allows for wireless mice to be used on many surfaces, something that was difficult with optical mice in the past. Keyboards also benefit from this new technology in that the wireless performance is much improved and thus makes for a better experience.
