Micronesia

Micronesia is a collection of hundreds of small island in the South Pacific. It makes up the region west of Polynesia and north of Melanesia, the 2 other areas that make up Oceania. It lies between the Philippines and Hawaii in the North Pacific. Micronesia should not be confused with the Federated State of Micronesia, which is an island nation located within the area of Micronesia.
