James’ one of her biggest achievement on her budding career as a wrestler started on April 26, 2001, when she copped the Battle Royal SCW (Southern Championship Wrestling) Diva crown in Raleigh, North Carolina. James later triumphed over arch rival Tara on November 3, 2001 on a Maryland titular match in a wrestling show in Paw Paw, West Virginia. http://www.gerweck.net/alexislaree.htm

With her superb showing and strings of consecutive good performance earlier on her career, a good break finally came as she signed a WWE developmental contract on August 2003. During the OVW Crusade Rumble in 2004, James who is in tandem with Passion dealt Hall and Melissa Coates, a resounding loss in a $1,000 match. http://www.gerweck.net/alexislaree.htm James made a rousing WWE’s “Raw” debut on October 10, 2005 with the gimmick of being Trish Stratus’ biggest fan/stalker.http://www.gerweck.net/alexislaree.htm The angle led to James defeating Stratus for the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 22. Shortly after her feud with Stratus, James turned face and became a crowd favorite. She would go on to do programs with various other WWE Divas.

Just recently, James showed grace under pressure as James rolled over Michelle McCool at the 2010 Royal Rumble in Atlanta, Georgia to nail the WWE Women's championship.
