Mick Jagger is the lead singer for The Rolling Stones a band he co-founded in 1962. The Rolling Stones are one of the most successful Rock and Roll bands in the history of music. In 1989, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the Rolling Stones.
Jagger helped to start the Rolling Stones band with his friend Keith Richards, he also wrote some of their hit songs, and produced them. He and Keith Richard began writing the songs they performed and it was not long before the band was a major rock and roll band. The band began as a rhythm and blues cover band with Jagger as the lead vocalist.
Mich Jagger was born in Kent England, on July 26, 1943 to a middle class family. His father Joe was a teacher and his mother Eva was a beautician. Jagger is the older of the couple’s two children, the younger is a son named Chris who began a teacher. Mick Jagger received a scholarship to London School of Economics but dropped out to pursue a career in music.
In 1985 he released his first solo album, She's the Boss after the Rolling Stones disbanded.
