Michigan Primary Vote Redo

  • Controversy has surrounded the decision of the Democratic National Committee to strip Michigan of its delegates to the Democratic National Convention because Michigan scheduled its primary earlier than had been agreed with the committee. The major democratic candidates did not campaign in Michigan, and Barack Obama and John Edwards removed their names from the ballots completely. Hillary Clinton won the primary. Several plans have been proposed to address the situation, including a primary redo.
