Michelle Williams is an American film and television actress who started her career as a teenager, appearing in guest star roles on television shows such as Baywatch, Step By Step, and Home Improvement. She also appeared in films like Species and A Thousand Acres. In 1998, Williams was cast as series regular, Jen Lindley, in the WB show Dawson's Creek. The show ran for six seasons. While on the set of Brokeback Mountain, Williams met actor Heath Ledger. The two soon became romantically involved and shortly after, had a child, Matilda Rose Ledger.
