Michelle Ryan

Michelle Ryan is a British film, television, and stage actress.

Born and raised in Enfield, North London, Ryan has been involved in acting since her childhood. She has been a member of a local theater group since she was 10. At only 15 she was chosen for a soap opera roll in EastEnders.

At 15 years old Ryan got the roll of "Zoe Slater" in the BBC soap opera EastEnders. She stayed on from 2000 to 2005. After many auditions and guest appearances on several television series, she got the role of "Maria" in the 2007 adaptation of Mansfield Park.

In 2007 she got the star role in NBC's Bionic Woman. Due to the writers strike only eight of the 13 planned episodes aired. Because of the ratings the show is likely to be canceled.
