Michelle Lee, who worked as a forensic investigator with the NYPD, was found dead in her apartment on April 27, 2009. Lee had been stabbed several times and was found tied to her bed with a cord from a cell phone charger. On May 21, 2009, Lee's ex-boyfriend, Gary McGurk was arrested for the murder of Lee and charged with possession of a weapon and evidence tampering.
