  • Michal Rozsival is a Czech professional hockey player, currently playing for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League.   • Career Highlights

    Rozsival began his career playing junior hockey in his native Czech Republic. He was drafted 105th overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Pittsburgh Penguins. That same year, he joined the Penguins' Western Hockey League affiliate, the Swift Current Broncos. Rozsival made his NHL debut with the Penguins in 1999, playing in 75 regular season games, plus two playoff games. Rozsival returned to the Czech Republic during the 2004-05 NHL ockout, playing for the HC Ocelari Trinec and the Pardubice HC. Shortly after the lockout, Rozsival signed as a free agent with the New York Rangers. During his first season in New York, 2006, he was given the NHL Plus/ Minus Award, which he shared with Wade Redden.
