Michaela McManus is an actress who played the role of Lindsay Strauss on the CW series, One Tree Hill and then starred as the assistant district attorney on the crime series, Law & Order: SVU. She filmed 22 episodes of the show. McManus left after the announcement of the original assistant district attorney, Stephanie March, was re-cast, although it was not mentioned if this was the reason for her leaving the show.TV Guide: SVU: Michaela McManus Is Leaving the Cast (April 18, 2009) NBC has given no official statement.

Life and Career
McManus's role as Lindsay Strauss, the love interest of Chad Michael Murray, quickly became a fan favorite on One Tree Hill. She joined the show during the fifth season. She was then a guest on New York, then was cast in a permanent role on Law & Order: SVU and taped 22 episodes before her departure.
