Michael Ware

Michael Ware is a CNN correspondent whose rigorous reports from both sides of the front lines in Afghanistan and Iraq have earned both praise and controversy. His personal life itself was the subject of some controversy in June 2008, when reports surfaced of his involvement in a love triangle with CBS reporter Lara Logan and a married State Department contractor, Joe Burkett.

As reported in the National Enquirer, CBS' Logan was the focus of an angry confrontation between Burkett and "a star CNN correspondent."National Enquirer: CBS News Lara Logan Divorce War (June 25, 2008) Subsequent reports identified Ware as the third party in the alleged love triangle.
