Virginia prosecutors say the state trial of former NFL quarterback Michael Vick will be postponed until Vick is finished serving his federal sentence on dogfighting charges.
On December 10, 2007, Vick was sentenced to 23 months in prison plus 3 years probation on federal charges.

Virginia Commonwealth's Attorney Gerald Poindexter says with Vick and his co-defendants serving out their federal sentences in other states bringing them to trial before those terms are up "isn't worth the expense."*USA Today: Prosecutor: Vick's Va.
