Michael Silas is one of the contestants on Bravo's Step It Up And Dance, a reality show where twelve dancers compete against each other for the 100,000 dollar prize.
Silas was born in Germany and grew up on a military base. When he was nine years old his family moved to Houston, Texas.
Silas has formal training in ballet, jazz, modern dance, and salsa and studied at schools such as, Alvin Ailey, Broadway Dance Center, The Debbie Reynolds Dance Academy. Silas was also awarded a scholarship to attend the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center.
