Michael Rovito

Michael Rovito is a Temple University graduate student who ran into Sarah Palin at Philadelphia cheesesteak institution Tony Luke's and asked her what she thought about the "Pakistan situation" and Waziristan. Palin responded that if the United States had to enter Pakistan to prevent terrorist incursions then they should do so, thus agreeing with Barack Obama and disagreeing with her running mate John McCain.CNN: Palin Takes Questions During Cheesesteak Run (September 27, 2008)

• Rovito: "What's going on over there, like Waziristan?"
• Palin: "It's working with Zardari to make sure that we're all working together to stop the guys from coming in over the border. And we'll go from there."
