Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps was involved in a car crash in Baltimore, Maryland on the evening of August 13, 2009. The crash took place at an intersection at about 9:00 p.m. Phelps, who was driving a black Cadillac Escalade, was uninjured. The driver of the other car in the accident was taken to a hospital.
