Early Life
Michael Moritz was born and raised in Cardiff, Wales. He attended Christ Church at Oxford University, where he earned a degree in history. He then went on to receive his MBA at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Rise to Billionaire Investor
After completing his education, Moritz began working for Time magazine as a reporter. After parting from Time, he co-founded Technologic Partners, which was a technology newsletter. He also started investing in technology companies. Among the list of his investments are Google, Yahoo!, PayPal, Cisco, YouTube, and Apple Computer.
