Michael Misick is a lawyer and real estate broker who was elected as the prime minister of the Turks and Caicos island chain. Misick has been under investigation for the allegation of mis-use of public funds during his two terms as prime minister of the islands. Allegations regarding the mis-use of public funds came to light in 2008. By July a commission had been appointed to investigate the allegations. Rape Accusation
In April 2008 a woman from Puerto Rico accused Misick of raping her while she was visiting the islands. According to the accusation, the rape took place on March 27, 2008.
