Michael Lohan

Michael Lohan is the father of actors Lindsay and Ali Lohan. He was married to their mother, Dina Lohan, from 1985 to 2007. He is currently engaged to model Erin Muller.

In March 2009, Lohan's girlfriend, Erin Muller, filed a harassment complaint against Lohan with the Suffolk County police. According to reports, Lohan threatened to kill her and himself if she left him. Lohan surrendered to police on April 6, 2009. In May 2009, Lohan said Muller had been persuaded into filing the complaint but declined to comment further. He was arrested again on December 13,2009 for allegedly violating a protection order from his estranged girlfriend. He is set to appear in court January 8, 2010 on this latest charge.

According to his current girlfriend, Kate Major, Michael Lohan experienced chest pains that radiated up his arms on March 16, 2010. After these symptoms appeared Michael was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Manhasset, where he currently remains. Girlfriend Kate Major also reports that an EKG was performed and indicated evidence of a heart attack.

Michael Lohan announced on February 3, 2009 that he is quitting his blog. Lohan had frequently used his blog to criticize his daughter Lindsay's relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson. Michael Lohan was awarded supervised visitation of his two younger children Ali and Dakota upon his release from prison in 2007.

On December 24, 2008, Lindsay Lohan said that her father had confessed to her that she has a half-sibling, the result of an affair from when he cheated on her mother, his ex-wife, Dina Lohan.
