According to x17online, a source inside the hospital reported that the possibility of a drug overdose with sleeping pills remained a possibility. The Los Angeles Police Department opened an investigation into the death. They said there was no evidence of wrongdoing. Michael Jackson is being sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

    A cardiologist at UCLA told TMZ that Jackson died of cardiac arrest. Rumors began circulating that the death was self-inflicted and are in line with official reports. An autopsy is being performed.
