The Michael Jackson Family Trust is the estate established to look after the property and assets of the late pop music icon Michael Jackson. According to Jackson's will, which was made public days after his June 25, 2009, death, attorney John Branca, accountant Barry Siegel and friend John McClain would be co-executors of the estate and trust.

Michael Joseph Jackson died on June 25, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. The cause of death is unknown at this time. Immediately following his death, Katherine and Joseph Jackson secured their late-son's estate and his three children: Prince Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., Prince Prince Michael Jackson II, and Paris-Michael Katharine Jackson. On July 1, 2009 John Branca filed the will in a Los Angeles Court.
