Michael Jackson Autopsy

  • Singer Michael Jackson died after suffering cardiac arrest on June 25, 2009. The Los Angeles Police Department has opened up an investigation into the singer's death, which some had rumored was due to an overdose of prescription medication. There was no evidence of foul play.

    An autopsy was performed in Los Angeles to determine the cause of death the day after. The LA Coroner's Office held a press conference on June 26, 2009. After the autopsy was completed at 1pm of that day, a representative of the Coroner's office announced that Jackson had been taking prescription medications and toxicology tests were ordered, but released no more information. No plans of the funeral were confirmed.
