Michael J. Fox talks about being a leader and surrounding himself with people who are smarter than he is. When he gathered a group of leaders - those who would become the board of directors at his non-profit - he initially asked them to look at their jobs in a new way. He asked them to work towards "putting the organization out of business someday" - meaning someday finding a cure for the disease of Parkinson's. His goal, his 'mantra' is "purity of motive".
