  • Michael Hollis was sentenced to over 17 years in prison for his role in receiving and sharing child pornography over the Internet.   • The Investigation

    The investigation began when FBI offices in Bakersfield received information from other branch offices in Texas, Oklahoma and New Jersey indicating that Hollis was sharing child pornography online. On August 15, 2008, officers served a search warrant at Hollis' home and after finding some evidence of his involvement in child pornography, placed him under arrest.
