Michael Curry most recently served as the head coach of the Detroit Pistons. Curry played for six different teams during his eleven seasons as a professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association, and was also the NBA Players Association President for four years.

Playing Career
Curry went undrafted after college and signed as a free agent with the Philadelphia 76ers. Post-Player Career
After retiring from professional basketball, Michael Curry became an assistant coach for the Pistons, working for head coach Flip Saunders. In 2006, he was appointed Vice President, Basketball Operations for the NBA.
