Michael Bay is a director/producer known for such films as Armageddon, The Rock, and Pearl Harbor and the Transformers film series. He started directing commercials and music videos, and it was not until 1995 when he made his directorial debut with the film, Bad Boys.
In June 2009, Michael Bay's Transformers Revenge of the Fallen was released to theaters. The film was largely bashed by critics as being over-produced, but proved to be a huge financial success, having a record-breaking opening week.
Rumors suggest that Bay and Dreamworks have teamed up for the film adaptation of the upcoming I Am Number Four series. Bay is allegedly producing the teenage alien films and possibly directing them as well.
