She was born "Mia Sarapocciello" in Brooklyn, NY on June 19, 1968. Her first breakthrough in film came when she starred opposite Tom Cruise as "Princess Lily" in the 1985 fantasy adventure Legend. The Following year, Sara was cast to play "Sloane Peterson" in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. In 1994 Sara earned a Saturn Award for her work in the Jean-Claude Van Damme thriller Timecop.
