In cooperation with Jordanian animation company Rubicon, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios (MGM) has agreed to develop an entertainment facility with Abu Dhabi-based Sorouh Real Estate. The vacation destination will include hotels, shopping, leisure and entertainment facilities, which combine MGM's brands with the cultures and traditions of the Arab region. A production and animation facility is also being considered as part of the development plan. The facility is scheduled to open in 2012.
