Story
A meeting between Samus Aran, other infamous bounty hunters and the admiral of the Galactic Federation abruptly ends when space pirates attack several federation ships. In an attempt to end the attack, Samus travels to Norion, where the Space Pirates are concentrated. There she encounters Dark Samus, the supposed leader of the Space Pirates. Dark Samus severely wounds Samus using Phazon attacks, but she survives. She has been corrupted by the energy, but is simultaneously infused with it, and is able to use a “Phazon Enhancement” suit supplied by the Galactic Federation to harness the energy and make her more powerful. Samus is then sent to the planets of Bryyo and Elysia, in an attempt to discover the fate of her fellow bounty hunters. -
