On April 1, 2008, a Guns of the Patriots video made the rounds online, which showed Old Snake dressed as Altair from the video game Assassin's Creed. At first believed to be an April Fools' joke, it was later revealed that the Altair costume is an actual unlockable in MGS4. The game also contains unlockable weapons, cutscenes, and face paints. Complete the single-player game while fulfilling certain criteria to unlock new weapons and earn Drebin Points to customize them. Snake also has access to an iPod and can unlock different tunes by accomplishing different tasks throughout the game. Some songs give Snake combat bonuses or other effects. For example, listening to the "Beyond the Bounds" tune increases Snake's stun damage from non-lethal weapons.
