Metal Gear Solid 4 will feature two different bundles available for sale on release day, June 12, 2008. Each bundle includes a PlayStation 3 in addition to the game software. One of the two bundles is black. It includes a 40 gigabyte, gunmetal-gray PlayStation 3, a DualShock 3 controller, the game, a soundtrack, and a Blu-ray disc featuring the making of the game. This bundle is available only through Konami's website for $600. This bundle includes a PlayStation 3 that does not have backward capability or a flash-card reader. The other bundle is white and is sold through most national retailers. It includes an 80 gigabyte PlayStation 3, a DualShock 3 controller, the game software, and the full version of the PlayStation Store game Pain. This bundle retails for $500.
