• For the worldwide release of Guns of the Patriots on July 12, Konami announced US launch events in three locations: New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Fans of Metal Gear Solid will be able to meet series creator Hideo Kojima, as well as other members of the development team and David Hayter, who was the voice actor for Solid Snake. In addition to the official launch events, GameStop and Best Buy will have numerous locations opening at midnight for anxious fans who pre-ordered the game. GameStop has exclusive rights to sell the MGS4 Limited Edition in the United States.
