Disabling Substation takes place during the second act of Guns of the Patriots. The event is set in South America amidst a savage war between PMC forces and the rebels.

Disabling Substation
During the rebel force's assault on the Power Station, players have the choice of either infiltrating the building and destroying the control panel themselves or letting the troops handle it. The latter, however, will take much longer so to get things done quickly, retrieve the C4 explosives from the northeast section of the Power Station before making your way into the room. Upon finishing, head towards the Stryker tank located behind the station to trigger a cut scene. The area will now be completely clear of PMC forces, giving you access to a secret area where you’ll find additional weapons and supplies. You will find it past the control station. -
